The Revolutionary Congress

Currently, in a mild amount of disarray attempting to clarify their numbers and structure, the d'Cannith estate in the Skyway was overwhelmed by the oftentimes less legally sophisticated union leaders, recently elected, and who had received a free copy of the Workers' Voice, with simple instructions in many languages that the leaders of these new unions were to come to the city of Sharn for this meeting. While still counting exactly how many communities are here in support through their union, the representatives, once there are inspired by the revolutionary speeches being magically amplified from the Ballroom and felt compelled to join in the new revolutionary government. A combination of industrial unionism, trade and craft unionism, and peasant community leaders have joined together in a unicameral system based on the Congress of Trade Guilds (CTG). First, the unions each separately form a consensus on the matter proposed, as do each community through a town hall meeting system. Then, this consensus is to be, in a radical use of technology for the time, telegraphed through some underground telegraphy systems offered by Dwarven, Droaamish, and Boromar Clan allies, to the congress where each elected or sorted Speaker, is to then argue their communities' consensus position, and seek a consensus within the council. While there are no constitutional time limits on the length of the debates, much legislation is passing with lightning speed as the congress settles in, and communities across the land begin experimenting with democracy, including some, 'behind enemy lines' in East Breland, which is mostly unions with the exception of the refugee communities of New Cyre, all other counties there signed their Pledges of Loyalty during the Ceasefire of Eyre, some earlier than others.
Judicial Body

Community Empowerment Act

The Community Empowerment Act passed with sweeping support, granting Counties the right to reconstitute, remove the title Count, establish direct democracy districts based on the historical peasant communities, or districts of cities, and are empowered to enforce the revolutionary law via community defense groups made of sorted and elected members. Accused criminals are to be held until the next town hall meeting for trial before the community, where evidence is presented from the accused wronged and wrongdoer, and the merits and truth of the matter is decided by consensus, as well as punishment.
