Cyclops Island

In the morning, we head off to finally deal with the Cyclops problem. We arrive to a beach, which I discover is a land bridge heading out to an island about a mile off. We let Aquila scout out the island and she found more tracks on the island. We then waited for the tide to lower a bit before heading across. While crossing we saw two shark faced being peak out of the water before disappearing. Crossing the river caused lots of exhaustion throughout our team, Goat did not look good after. Conviction found us a nice little nook to off the beach to camp out in. During the first night, two skeletons come out of the water and begin to attack us. The rusted skeleton knights take down Conviction. We swiftly take out the two skeletons, but unfortunately their armour and swords were too rusted to help us. We then waited another night before venturing deeper into the island to find and slay the Cyclops. Aquila spotted the Cyclops marching through the forest, so we quickly set up a trap. As the cyclops comes to us, it steps on two traps, setting off one that had alchemists fire in it. The mad Kruger charges in a begins to slice up the cyclops, hitting him twice with one attack. Kruger and I surround the Cyclops, and we are quickly joined by an enlarged Conviction. From the backline Apollo, Neris, and Mona loose as many arrows as possible into the beast. I took a great big hit from the Cyclops, almost knocking me unconscious, but before he could swing again, Apollo shot it in it’s eye, and felled the beast.   We then went looking for the cows, which we found near the entrance of a cave. Entering the cave we took a wrong turn, and ended up face to face with a female Cyclops! We ran and Neris cast Shatter upon the ceiling, blocking the Cyclops from getting to us. We quickly grabbed a sac that looked important, and ran out to the cows and quickly began herding them back towards the land bridge. It was now low tide (Thank the gods) and we easily made it back to the farmer without any problems. It was a good adventure all and all, and I am glad we were able to rescue the cows.

Geography

The island is connected to (-3.-1) by a mile long sand bar/land bridge that is only traverse-able during low tide. The sand bar remains partially submerged even during low tide except for a 15 minute window during the peak of low tide. The players must make 2 con saves each including 2 saves for their mounts/animals brought along as well if they traverse the sandbar while it is partially submerged. Players walking across at the peak of low tide can feasibly make it half way at a regular pace before it becomes partially submerged.
