Krael'nos was born in the Ashlands during the Age of Shadows. Krael'nos was a mighty warrior in the demonic hordes of Belros Azul during the Infernal Crusade, as all Oruki were during that age. Krael'nos fought with unmatched fury, cutting swaths of destruction through the forces of his opponents. He lived for battle, even challenging Xenades, the Archangel of Justice to single combat outside of the walls of Ostoria. Even though he was defeated, he greatly injured Xenades, forcing him away from the fighting for several months while he recovered.

After his death in combat following the end of the Infernal Crusade upon Celestine's return in the last siege of the Great Crusade Krael'nos was raised to divinity as a Lesser God by Belros Azul. Belros recognized the potential of the mighty warrior, and he has ever since been in his service. Krael'nos eventually became partnered with Garenna, who bore him the Black Oruki. Krael'nos is the strongest opponent of Ozrek and the new direction he has taken the Oruki, and works fervently to bring his people back to The Shadow.

The Ravagers- A group of Oruki dedicated to the veneration of Krael'nos as their leader and idol. They venerate Krael'nos as a mighty warrior and seek to follow in his footsteps, following the old way. They rampage and pillage, and seek glorious combat wherever it can be found. Their allegiance still lies with the Shadow, and they actively hunt their brethren who align with the traitor Ozrek.
