Ozrek was born in the Ashlands during the 113 CY. From a relatively large tribe, Ozrek was identified from an early age as having strong magical abilities and was trained in the shamanistic arts, and was a follower of Garenna. A tragic event in his mid-twenties would forever change his outlook however, when a raid he led on another tribe would lead to the death of his father and brother. Angry, saddened and confused, he left his tribe and wandered for over a decade before returning, thinking on life, the Oruki and their society. He returned a changed man.

Upon Ozrek's return he began preaching a new way of life to the masses. He preached that they should leave behind their allegiance to The Shadow after Celestine's Law and find a new way for themselves. Their own way. He preached that they should live in peace with each other and the other Elder Races, and work towards their own betterment. He told anyone who would listen that the Oruki must leave behind their ways of war and band together to work towards a better future, or that they would be destroyed. He quickly gained a rapid following.

The tribal chiefs and the other leaders of Oruki society were not amused by the teachings of Ozrek however, and they viewed him as a direct threat not only to themselves but their way of live. Seven tribal chiefs banded together and captured Ozreck, and after a sham trial, they burned him alive. In death Ozreck became a martyr, and his following would over the next several centuries begin overthrowing the existing power base within their society, and begin creating a new way of life. While not all Oruki subscribe to Ozreck's teachings, most do.

Shortly after his death Ozreck ascended to divinity as a Lesser God. He continues to teach and guide his people as a spiritual leader from beyond the Inner Realms, and has a large following in mainstream Oruki society.

Emissaries of the Martyr- The Emissaries are an organization dedicated to the veneration of Ozrek and the reformation of Oruki society. They dedicate their lives to the transition of their people from a warlike race to a peaceful and productive one. They are often found as leaders, shamans and guides in Oruki tribes, and often come into conflict with The Ravagers as well as other followers of Krael'nos and Garenna.
