Furo People

The Furo People are a nomadic Kaiyocea people, mostly, but not entirely, composed of sea people such as merfolk, triton, Kappa, and some varieties of Anima. Generally roaming about the Southern Kaiyocean Ocean, the Furo People have a long history full of cultural traditions.
The Furo are a single unified tribe, who roam about the oceans depths, resting in places that provide protection such as giant seaweed forests, carved outcrops of coral, and even in Giant Sandray's dwellings. Generally, the Furo will stay in a location only as long as it is safe and they do not disturb the environment - if either of those conditions appear to be close to happen, they will vanish without a trace.
The Furo do accept new members from outside - this is the reason for the existence of non-aquatic peoples, along with Water Breathing Accessories allowing them to breath. A stringent test is apparently required, and a majority of the clan must agree.
In terms of the business and survival of the clan, the Furo will often trade hard-to-acquire items in the Southern Trenches, where they will trade for necessary gear and foodstuffs. The Furo are a scavenging people, strictly vegetarian, so they do require some foods from the Trenches to supplement their diet.
The Furo rarely interact with the outside world, other than the Trenches. They have been known to have a favorable relationship with the Southwest Shoals, apparently assisting them during The Period of the Ocean's Expansion, and in earlier times. They are rumored to be connected with The Lifelight in some way, although any information is hard to come by.
