Anima

Anima is a race of people present in Ealamkha'fif. These people often share resemblances to halflings, humans, elves and dwarves in addition to features present in animals, including ears, tails, extra appendages and patches of fur or scales. Thought to be many things - magical experiments, hybrids caused by latent magic or even once blessed by gods of nature, these people vary spectacularly in amount of hybridization. Some cat anima, for instance, may be closer to tabaxi than a human appearance wise, but others have only one or two features. Animal species of all kinds are represented, and while often they will transfer from parent to child, it is not always a guarantee. Anima born from two other races are not uncommon, as is vice versa, and the hybridization level varies.
