Edea Naeren (a.k.a. Pirate Queen)
We need to stop her now, or we'll not only loose the war, but also the nation.Admiral, Take as many ships as we have.
Few people are as well known as Edea Naeren, but equally few know her full story.
She was born in a small harbour town and grew up with her father and mother. He taught her sailing and fishing, and she told her stories of the riches that some trading ships carry.
These riches became a fixation for Edea, making her leave her family in favour of a larger harbour where she volunteered on a trading vessel, hoping to see and take some of the riches. This was cut short when the first ship Edea served on got taken by pirates.
She was given the choice to either die or serve the pirates and she chose the latter. Edea quickly became a very prominent figure and soon took over the ship.
Not many years later her abilities as a leader were clear and a number of other pirate ships put themselves under her command.
Using a war as an opportunity, she started raiding trading ships left and right, including an attack on The Leviathan. Eventually the nation at war had to stop fighting on land in order to deal with the pirates at sea.
Since then the amount of piracy has gone down drastically, but sailors are still wary when travelling the area.
Failures & Embarrassments
For weeks and months she planned the raid on the largest trading vessel, The Leviathan, saying that it would be her greatest achievement, but as told in A travellers guide to Auwan, A pirates greatest accivement, this did not work out as intended.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Edea is great at planning, but she quickly looses her temper if a plan doesn't work out as intended.
