Uses, Products & Exploitation
The Útels of Ela'k Forest, especially Veans and Þandans, harvest a great number of velí caterpillars for food. After removing the innards, the caterpillars are usually either smoked and served with onions and spices, or sun-dried and wrapped in vine leaves along with grape must.
