Hanrans
The Hanrans1 are a Þrihak tribe inhabiting the area around the village of Beþúa, near the southern border of Kóvúrt, south of the Þrúsks.
Unlike the other tribes of Kóvúrt, most Hanrans are semi-nomadic; most families move around the region during summer, where they subsist on tending their flocks of Rekan Birds and hunting, and make camp on the outskirts of Beþúa during winter. Only the chief and his family, a few select warrior and the elderly live throughout the year in the village.
Friendly Þrihaks and occasional Minotaurs visit Beþúa to trade, giving the rest of Kóvúrt access to rare goods from as far as Ymn Lake, far to the south. The village has an arena where Minotaur merchants can duel to resolve disagreements, and Hanran varriors practice their traditional wrestling.
