The time before the Xixuegui calendar was established, few events if any happened here, and even less have concrete dates.
Completion of a large (for the time) palace in the city of Kala-Sho was heralded as the beginning of a new epoch, as the ruling dynasty of the city changed their name to Shiyau and declared the start of the Empire of their people, the Gui. This empire would last until 89 YS.
The 3rd War for Independence waged by several temples in the Low Peaks was brought to a close with the Shattering of the Wolf Plateau, where the Aelf Wolf Temples attempted to grant their Wolf God mortal form so they could protect the many kingdoms that ruled the foothills of the western Low Peaks of Zhatar. Instead, it sank the mountains into the ground. General Ze Faingnar would take the throne of Xixuegui.
The Reign of Boh Wan, the Pox Emperor, was a Dark Age in Xixuegui, and also saw a marked increase in the potency and frequency of plagues and epidemics through all of Diyu. The first of the Necrocyte Cliques was started and sponsored by Boh Wan.
This is era's first year is marked as the year the Xixuegui's Golden Emperor ascended to his throne. On the year's final day, Mul-Zamain inflicted his wound on the world.
Over the course of 9 years, more and more strange happenings occur, until on the final day of 818 Kaong, the country is blanketed by a black cloud, and everyone within it dies.
The calamitous Battle of Uxcelesch Plain marked the start of the Long War, notable players including the Imperator-- Shoka of the House of Baden Hill, Xoffe of Castelan Ward, and Khidz Toryx--general of the Akroni army mustered to stop the Larani. The battle ended with the Larani army functionally destroyed, and the Akroni army reduced to 1000.
