Avir-jok
Avir-jok (Dwarvish: Aevi-drjúgr jokull, lit. 'ever-lasting ice') is a glacial plateau that covers northern Jungstol and Innulthac. Created by the air titan Akadi as a tomb for the greatwyrm Beleth-Sunyr, the eternally frozen glacier forms a land bridge across the Shivering Sea. The glacier contains an extensive network of caverns, many of which lead into the Underdark and which are controlled by the Duergan empire of Tirandorga. The largest cavern within the glacier serves as the lair of the white dragon Therradan, with the cavern's mouth overlooking the highest cliffs of the glacier in northern Jungstol.
