Tagnik'phalar

Tagnik'phalar (Drow, lit. 'dragon's grave') was a large dark elf city in central Innulthac. Built over the ruins of a Drak Pralora settlement during the dark elves' conquest of the northern continent, it currently serves as the lair of the black dragon Inergal.

Demographics

The city's population is comprised of 74% dark elves, 25% Drak Pralora, and 1% other species. The dark elves make up the working class and the military of the city, with the women serving as soldiers in the military while the men make up the working class of the city. The population of Drak Pralora arrived following news of Inergal's conquest, setting up temples and monuments to the black dragon who they worship as the second coming of Ereshkigal.

Government

All subjects of Tagnik'Phalar serve at the mercy of Inergal. The only people allowed to meet directly with Inergal are the high priests of the Obsidian Cult and the commanders of the city's military forces, all of whom are Drak Pralora dragonborn.

Renor'Valshath

The grand palace at the center of the city proper that has since become a vault for Inergal's horde. The palace incorporates the bones of the fallen greatwyrm Ereshkigal into its construction, his ribs serving as support columns throughout the palace while its throne room was built inside the ancient behemoth's skull. Ingeral stores the Onyx Dragon Core in the palace's deepest treasure vaults when not in possession of the artifact.
