Grumbar'kath

Grumbar'kath is a massive temple complex located beneath the Sea of Hubris created to seal away the head of the dark god Kai'ossh. It was constructed by Grumbar following Kai'ossh's defeat.
The tomb complex was protected for centuries by the Grum'vola, until Bala'Ishkur and her blue dragons conquered the temple and forced the druids to flee south to the Drakteth Gorge. The greatwyrm claimed the temple as her lair and used it as the staging point for her conquest of eastern Divostra during the Dracomachy. Later, after Tiamat was banished to the Nine Hells, Bala'Ishkur would retreat into Grumbar'kath and seal the entrance to give herself time to recover from her defeat. The greatwyrm was caught in the collapse of the catacombs during the Sundering, when the entire Balar Isthmus became a caldera known as the Sea of Hubris. Today, the temple is protected by many fathoms of water and the constant storms that ravage the caldera.
