Mynyss Mountains

The largest mountain range in Mayar, the Mynyss is largely impassable and acts as a natural barrier between the Eastern Kingdoms, the Western Kingdoms, and Kingdom of Aerey.
The Kingdom of Kuril is located along the Western edge of the range, and the Dwarves there occasionally discover ancient ruins from the dwarves of The Edyllys Empire as they excavate further into the mountain.

Geography

The range covers a distance of over 1000 miles, with the tallest peak at over 10,000 feet. With a harsh, cold, dry climate for the majority of the range, it is generally impassable.

Fauna & Flora

Brush and other plants are very sparse due to the harsh climate. Nevertheless, there are small populations of wild camels, lizards and some migratory birds.

Natural Resources

The dwarves pull a vast array of gemstones and precious metals from these mountains, as well as high quality marble, limestone, granite, iron, copper, tin and other metals.
