Calaidasi

Originally part of an ambitious project to restore the ruins of what seems to have been an Edyllian port city many times the size of Herna. Soon overwhelmed by the scale of the project, out of materials and money, the project collapsed, and work up to that point eventually culminated in Niton in the Kingdom of Argolida, and Calaidasi in the Kingdom of Massalia.

History

The wealthy Chamiret Family, the royal family of Argolida, was convinced by the Argyros Family to undertake this massive project, beginning with what is now Niton. The Chamirets removed themselves from the project when the construction of Niton proved to be more expensive than previously thought. They took control of the city, leaving the Argyros to continue construction on their own. Construction of Calaidasi was slower, but it became an important city in what would eventually become the Kingdom of Massalia.
