Kingdom of Massalia
The youngest of the human kingdoms, the royal family of Massalia were once explorers, who built their kingdom pushing West through the great ruins of Edyllys. They maintain both a castle in the capital of Calaidasi, and a villa in Bonassa .
Calaidasi, one of the “twin ports,” sits at the border with Argolida. The first city, it was built up on ruins of what seems to have been an Edyllian port city many times the size of Herna.
The large port of Bonassa sits at the western edge of the kingdom, an ideal point of departure for exploratory journeys. Many rare and ancient artifacts pass through Bonassa. The Massalians also have a good deal more contact with the Dragonborn than the other kingdoms do, and it is quite common to see Dragonborn in the larger cities.
The city of Ochiale is a common destination for historians and scholars, as it is built up near ruins of what are thought to be a grand Edyllan palace.
Foreign Relations
Raids by the orcs of what has now become Hakkra have been an ongoing threat, and the northerners do not place much trust in the peace treaties that were established by Knosos.
Relations with the Dragonborn of Nokhungaar have been pleasant - so far. Many residents of the large cities are leery of their presence, fearful of an impending invasion.
