Argyros Family

Royal family of the Kingdom of Massalia, formerly the royal family of the Kingdom of Argolida.

History

The family earned fame as a noble family of adventurers, who founded Argolida. The kingdom saw steady expansion west, until they began work on what they thought would be their crowning achievement: Reconstruction of a great Edyllan port city. Funded by the wealthy Chamiret Family, they began work on what was to become Niton, but their project was too ambitious, and stretched their resources too thin. The Chamirets staged a coup, and took over the kingdom.
The Argyros family, forced into exile, established themselves in what is now Calaidasi, and built up the new Western kingdom of Massalia. Their feud with the Chamirets goes on to this day, and has been responsible for many border disputes between their kingdoms.
