Homo Sapien
Humans were the first race to exist in recorded history, and are the most numerous single race in Deruña.
Though not particularly specialized in any one area, and weaker in most ways than other races, humans exceed at diversification of their skills. While another race like Demons might be better at black magic, and Angels might be better at white magic, they are both worse in their opposing schools than Humans would be, giving them a wide variety of options to pick from.
Physical Attributes and Appearance
Humans on Deruña are typically the standard to which all other races are compared, since they are the common ancestor of most of them. They are also the most numerous, and 'generic' of the races. They have the normal physical characteristics of an average person, and no particularly notable physical characteristics.Magical Attributes and Skill
Humans are almost universally average at all forms of magic, giving them a unique advantage in that they can specialize in whatever they wish, without any inherent weakness in it. Their spiritual reserves and regeneration are average, and they're slighlty better at fine control than large-scale control. Notably, some humans are born with a disability that prevents them from using magic in any way whatsoever. Such individuals are uniquely extremely resistant to magic as well, and tend to make up for their deficiencies with impressive physical prowess.Senses and Perception
Humans have average senses in most forms, though they are psychically slighlty more perceptive than normal. They must use a simple spell to percieve invisible magical forces.Genetics and Reproduction

Humans reach puberty at around 9 to 14 years old, physical maturity by 16-20 years old, and full mental maturity at around 15 years old. They live to around 100 years in general, though this can be extended not inconsiderably with magic.Naming Traditions

Humans' culture mostly revolves around their magical education and study. Their practical education is finished by 8th grade, around age 13. Further study is optional, and allows one to learn and master magic.Dietary Needs
