Cascade Range

The Cascade Range is the southern part of the The Great Western Mountains, south of where the Great Southern Range juts east from the Great Western Mountains, and north of the Scorpion's Tail Range as it curls around the southern coast of Yfel. West of the northern part of the Cascade Range is the country of Teiyon. East of the northern part of the Cascade Range is the country of Koyon. East of the central and southern parts of the Cascade Range is the region known as Nyllamanne. The eastern slopes of the Cascade Range that slope down into Nyllamanne are especially dangerous, with tribes of Orkrim living there, as well as flora and fauna that is toxic and/or hostile.
At the far southern end of the Cascade Range, there is a pass through the mountains. A barely traveled road coming from Teiyon to the north leads through the pass to Isolabirre on the border with Yfel. Only a few very hardy and well-armed traders from Teiyon make use of the road, along with some Drow Elvirim patrols that keep the Orkrim out of Yfel. There are no traders from Yfel, only smugglers, spies, and assassins.
