Session 7f cont. Don't Rain on my Parade Report

General Summary

After defeating the Red Sun outside, the Party ventures inside and faces Faregrim Steelfist's own defence devices, an extra Archer and Melchor Krantz. After a short, but intense fight, the Party manages to destroy the constructs and kill the Archer and Melchor Krantz. They find Laurelia Botts, hidden behind an illusionary wall and get Faregrim's evil plan out of her. They intimidate her into going to the The Broken Doll and wait there for them.
Then they make their way to the Academy Plaza to foil the Ethirium Attack. They hire a carriadge at the main street. The closer they get to The Dun, the fuller the streets become. Everyone is revelling in the Silver Celebrations, so to pass through the streets more quickly, Tya'von Daragast casts an illusion to make the carriage look like a carriage from the Watch, complete with flashing lights. The Party makes it to the Plaza. First they have difficulties to prove to the Officers of the Watch and then the Lady's Guard that they have legitimate business, but Percy Blandford comes to the rescue and gets them inside the inner area. Tya'von messages A. Walsingham about the danger. Walsingham evacuates The Lady Elizabeth Woodstock, Lord Aylos Woodstock, Leovin Dahvinik and his sister Leonora Dahvinik and asks the Party to avoid mass panic.
The Party spots Faregrim Steelfist in the front row of the stalls. Tya'von manages to sidle up to him and forces him with Suggestion to give him the trigger for the explosion of the butterflies. Faregrim flies up with the help of his wheelchair and starts attacking the Party. Thankfully the Butterflies are dancing at that moment and only very few members of the audience notice that a fight is going on, most people think, the flying wheelchair is part of the performance. Viviane Bright manages to severely injure Faregrim with Thunderwave, Erevan Nailo, shoots down the wheelchair and Slava Slag shrinks the chair, trapping Faregrim inside. The whole fight is over in seconds and the Dwarf is taken away by members of the Lady's Guard. Walsingham seems to be very pleased and promises to get in contact with the Party soon.
