Frost Goat

Similar to the mountain goat in many ways, the frost goat is a cousin to them, yet they can manage to survive in temperatures as low as -40*F (-40*C) due to their thick icy-blue pelts. The frost goats are always found in the White Mountains, rarely close to the civilization. They are unable to be tamed and usually headbut the walls or gates of the pens they're trapped within. Frost Goat Horns
The fort got its name from echolocation that bounces off mountains and down into the White Mountain Pack's valley. Large frost goat horns are used to produce a loud echo into the valley. Depending on the tune will determine if there's a threat or a returning party has arrived.  
  • Long, drawn out: The Itudean Army is advancing, and civilians must go into hiding.
  • Quick, repeated bursts: A scouting party has returned.
