The storied hero Jeldin Lyonheart is a hero of the Empire's
Heartlands. The people of the Heartlands celebrate Jeldin as the hero of the Chetwood, the monster-infested forests in the Western Heartlands. The legendary guardian ventured out into the Chetwood many times, battling wolves, giant spiders, bandits and even more nefarious foes.
Vanquishing all of the threats before him, he was quick to become a celebrity amongst the people. After he was formally knighted, he travelled to the island of
Whitehaven where he fought alongside
Manannán and the Empire soldiers against the last of the Northmen raids.
After these last exploits he retired, settling on the island for many years. Recently, Jeldin is said to have come out of retirement, and many are expecting to see the storied warrior at this year's
Grand Tourney in Everglow.

After enlisting some of the core members of the
Company of the Broken Banner, Ser Jeldin Lyonheart shockingly perished in the Grand Melee at the centenerary of the Everglow Tourney, from a stray spear hurled by
The Dragon Knight.
Deaths in this event are not unheard of but are rare, and the populace were shocked to hear of the death of such a beloved hero. Over the duration of the festival, a funeral was held for the knight, and he was laid to rest in a tomb of honour amongst the Grand Mausoleum outside of
Whimbrel amongst the kings of old Eá-galwen.
