Whimbrel

he quaint little town of Whimbrel has had minimal impact on the recent politics of Daënfel, but much history lies within and around the town.
Whimbrel is the ancestral home of House Wayland, the rulers of Eá-galwen and one of the oldest families of Daënfel.
At the edge of the small town lies the huge Grand Crematorium, filled with graves of the fallen soldiers from across the lands who perished opposing Avlar. At the centre of this lies a great memorial statue of Death, commemorating her end, rumoured to be built by the Mason himself.
Whimbrel lies on the shores of Lake Everglow, and is most well-known for it's legendary tavern named The Rowan Inn, where adventurers and heroes aplenty congregate.
The Grand Everglow Tourney is held in this town, whose temporary accomodations and infrastructure lie around the lakeside.
