Goody Fowler's Cottage

Southwest of town

Located southwest of town, this gray saltbox cottage has stood here since the early 1680s. It was the home of Goody Fowler, the reputed witch, and townsfolk swear that not a living soul has entered the house since 1704, when Goody was carried out by an angry mob and hanged.   Amazingly, but for a few stray golf balls, the interior of the cottage looks the same as it did on the day of Fowler's murder more than 200 years before. A half-skein of yarn rests on the spindle; food dries in the cooking pot; it seems that potent magics eddy here still.
