The Code is an entity that predates all Minecraft, the creator and the world itself all in one. There is rarely tangible evidence of The Code's existence, due to the sheer scale of The Code, but there has been several World Updates that have sprouted through the world on such a scale it could only be The Code, not to mention countless myths and legends passed down of the developments
The Code's Chosen
The Code has not presented itself in a humanoid form in mortal memory, though there are mixed legends on names and faces The Code has favored, or perhaps embodied.Followers of The Code
As the world continued and progressed, The Code became less known and the traces of its power and worship started to dwindle. However, The Code still has followers, far-flung as they may be from each other and from the source. There are two main mentalities of those who study The Code: Moderators and Modifiers. Moderators act as keepers of the code's creations, and can be seen in collectors of antique creations and of life forms themselves. Moderators view The Code as a just being, and that all of its creations deserve to be respected, recognized, and valued. Modifiers, on the other hand, view The Code's creations as theirs to control in turn. They study the code to learn how to change it, in attempts to change fate itself. They see the power possible in all of creation, and see modifications and expansions as a form of worship to the source code.
