Personal history
Tamsin grew up in the village of Tanneris. At the tender age of fourteen she fled the town to avoid an arranged marriage to the town's blacksmith. She stopped at her aunt's home on the border between Craglim Reach and Herigmark. While there she heard about the House of Healing and decided that is where she wanted to go. Upon entering the school she met Amarna, who was the headmistress. She spent thirteen years studying before she was competent enough to head out on her own as a healer.
Returning to her homeland she pledged to find the highest paid position available where she wouldn't be forced to marry if she didn't choose to. Reaching the Capital of Kaligorn, Tamsin sought an audience with Queen Amsarill. Having found someone of a like mind in regards to marriage, she was given the opportunity to prove her skill. Having done so she was installed as the Palace Healer.
In her capacity as the Palace Healer she had little to do other than dealing with the cuts and bruises of armsmen and cooks assistants. She found that though she was being paid extremely well she wasn't truly living up to her calling. She learned, there was more time between doing her job and not. This bothered her a great deal but she couldn't mention it to the Queen because she accepted the position with the provision of no complaints.

Tamsin has an issue with any form of sexual activity. She finds the thought and the act to be disgusting to her. She has extreme sympathy for those who have been forced into a situation not of their choosing.
