Daamn thats a dark origin myth, definitely not what I was expecting going into this ^^. I'm quite curious about the Redcaps now though, so time to go read about these vile people!

Yiiiiiikes. This got dark. I do not blame the Leprechauns one bit for wanting to forget that piece of their history.
Sorry if this traumatized you. I was thinking about something I wrote in a different article and someone asked if that was where the redcaps came from.
It's okay, I came in prepared in a good headspace, or I'd have left it for later. :)
