Humboldt's Manor
Upon entering Lord Bertrand Humbolt's manor, adventurers are greeted by an opulent entryroom, its grandeur hinting at wealth and power. Two sweeping staircases curve elegantly towards the upper floors, framing a view of a room beyond, adorned with glass cases showcasing suits of armor and various collectibles. A closer examination reveals these treasures as mere facsimiles, a testament to the lord's waning fortunes masked by superficial luxury. To the right, double doors open to a dining area, while a single door leads to Bertrand's study, the heart of his dwindling domain. The manor, luxurious at first glance, belies the paper-thin veneer of prosperity that Lord Humbolt clings to.
