Aunty Mora's Hut
Aunty Mora's hut stands nestled between the fields, a strange but inviting sight with its small, round shape and a crooked chimney that emits a steady curl of sweet-scented smoke. As you step inside, the smell of freshly baked bread and herbs wafts through the air, mingling with the scent of cinnamon and woodsmoke, creating an unexpectedly cozy warmth. The interior has the feel of an old, rustic café, with simple tables and chairs scattered about, each bearing a small vase of wildflowers in varying states of freshness. A stairway leads up to a balcony containing smaller tables, and an open window to the kitchen shows a well equipped kitchen.
Along one wall, a hearth crackles with a steady fire, and pots of mysterious brews bubble away, filling the air with a comforting warmth. Various knick-knacks and trinkets hang from the ceiling and walls—charms made of bone and feathers, dried herbs tied in neat bundles, a large mirror with its borders shaped liked tangled vines and tiny animal skulls peeking out from the shelves. A well-worn, cushioned armchair sits by the fire, with a basket of knitting at its side, giving the whole place an oddly grandmotherly feel.
In the corner, a young woman with an unsettlingly blank expression sweeps the floor, her eyes cast down, avoiding your gaze entirely. Her movements are methodical and precise, and she does not acknowledge you beyond the soft shuffle of her broom
