Tenets of Faith

Everything to he who takes it. Never tell a whole truth, delight in the secrets of others, and let nothing be beyond your grasp.

Through Patience, Victory. Do not act overtly and lay your schemes unseen. Fit in amongst the crowd and advance your plots in silence until the moment you strike.

Stain the pure. Sully the untarnished and stain that which knows no blemish. Smother the untainted spirit of the righteous and the good and delight in their fall from grace.

Trust only leads to pain. All creatures will in time betray you - so place your trust in no one. Show no one your true face and form no attachments, that you might never know loss.

Death is art. Kill quickly, painlessly, and with meaning - deliver each death as if you were parting with your greatest friend. Suffering stains the canvas of the kill, and sullies its addition to your legacy.

History

In the ancient days of reality when all was fresh, the two nature gods were close and all was well, and were dedicated to upholding the natural world and all that lived within it through their opposing yet unified ways of doing so. In time however, Oa'Chai(Though she known in those times by a different yet long-forgotten name), in a bid to take full control of nature from her more chaotic husband so that all could act according to law and order, committed the first act of betrayal and staged a coup in her own pantheon...though it came close to success, she and all who followed her failed and were cast out, into the deep dark of The World Below and was sealed away forever.   Even since, the two have warred unending and have longed to erase the other, to erase the shameful past of the other.

Relationship Reasoning

Though the two once may have shared favorable opinions of one another, they have both long since fallen into utter hatred of each other after Oa'Chai committed the first act of betrayal when she betrayed her ex-husband, Gregaia, and tried to usurp control of the natural world from as she led the ancient Elven Pantheon in an attack on him to try and kill him.   Ever since, the two have hated each other and warred against each other at every possible opportunity.

Commonalities & Shared Interests

None. Once, they may have shared a love for nature, but now they only share a mutual hatred for each other.

History

Born from the loins of the Bloodthirster long before the dawn of time in his one and only tryst with the then matron deity of the elves Oa'Chai before she fell to darkness, Savusonn wandered as a demigod for ages, split between his father and mother's ideals and with none to truly call his own...it was not until his mother attempted to sway him to her side in a failed plot that would have led to his enslavement at her hands that Savusonn saw his parents for who they truly were.   As his father raged and demanded he join him at his side in a conquest against the drow and his mother for what she'd nearly done to him, Savusonn is said to have seen the failings of those who subscribe wholeheartedly to the service of another, even the gods...and found them wanting. He then began to wander, finding his true beliefs of freedom and giving a home to all outcasts and those forgotten.   Now, he actively works against his mother who he sees as the ultimate tyrant, striving to free her followers from eternal servitude to her even as he ignores the advances of his father, who he sees as better, but still flawed as he demands such strict obedience from his followers. However, the two get along in quite a prickly fashion, unlike him and his mother, who he has sworn to cast down and destroy.

Strike silently, that only she might hear.   Sow terror, that she might relish its flavor.   Scheme well, that only she might know your plan.   Trust nothing, that you might open your eyes to her truth.
