Major Gods

The Major Gods are the gods that have existed, in some form or fashion, as long as living memory and since what many assume to be the beginning of all things, in one form or another.
They each rule over a quintessential part of reality itself, and their worship is widespread and universal throughout the entire world. They are all awake and active gods, and because they yet hold dominion over a world still fresh in its youth, many believe the Major Pantheon holds one another in high regard, and are commonly referred to as a family or similarly close-knit group, as prone to in-fighting and squabbles and conflicts as any family should be as a way for their mortal followers to explain inter-deity conflicts.
It is theorized that it may be possible for a Major God to either Rise up to prominence from a Minor or Risen status or fall from grace to a Minor or Risen Status, but such a theory is simply myth, as the amount of power that would need to be lost or gained in a short period would be so immense and unmeasurable as to be fathomless by mortal minds, comparable to either a great cataclysm or overwhelming renaissance in their faith as it spreads across entire continents overnight.
