Tortle

Regions

While tehy certainly have a presence in the Marsh of Many Scales, Tortles can be found all over as nomadic ascetics. Some settle down and start families, leading to small pockets of Tortle communities across Chenravo. Unlike the Owlin, however, this migration happened over many hundreds of years. They are particularly common in the Fallen Sea and in Lindral Forest. 

Stereotypes

Stereotype	Why this Stereotype Exists
Tortles have wisdom second only to the Elves.	Tortles are very long lived, and given that many of them travel to work with and protect nature. This lends them a certain air of aged wisdom. Not all tortles have this wisdom, however.
Tortles live in their shells.	While it is possible for a tortle to sleep in their shells, some find it more comfortable than others. Most of them, however, prefer to spread out when they sleep every once in a while.
