Occult magic is considered the power of the unknown, power which does not fall into the normal conjecture of of sciences and libraries. A source of power from an Occult source could be a Patron from a distant realm, or from ancient teachings that come before modern methods of magical practice.
Innately, Bards, Shamans, Warlocks, and Witches practice Occult magic, though a few others fall into the esoterica that, as the nature and mystery of the Occult harkens to those who look for it.
Any spellcaster who uses the universal Occult Spell List has access to these spells via their class, ancestry, or whatever else. Spells with this page/trait are considered "Occult" in nature.
