Ability Description

You inflict madness onto another creature, making them temporarily strike out at an ally.

[One creature of your choice that you can see within range must succeed on a Will saving throw. If they fail, they become Compelled by you. If they Critically Fail, they become Enthralled as well, if they are able. While they are controlled by you, they gain a visual effect that denotes such, such as a red crown, a burning mask, or even a crooked halo.

Rather than being controlled by you, allowing you to issue Command Action | ◇, the creature will attack their closest ally, or the closest creature can see and reach within its turns. They will use their resources (movement, spells, etc), to close the gap on their turns if necessary. As with the Compelled condition, the save is repeated at the start of each of the creature's turns, and automatically ends if the caster harms the creature. As with the Enthralled Condition, the creature will not know they've been controlled if they Critically Fail the Save.
