Ability Description |
You attempt to send the target to another plane, possibly back to its home plane.
The target must attempt a Will Save. On failure, the creature is banished, while a critical failure prevents the creature from returning to the plane for 1d8+1 Days. On Critical Success, the creature not only resists the spell, but you become Stunned. until the start of your next turn.If the target is native to the plane of existence you’re on, you banish the target to a harmless demiplane. While there, the target gains the Stunned condition, but cannot be interacted through any other means. The target remains there until the spell ends, at which point the target reappears in the space it left or in the nearest unoccupied space if that space is occupied.
If the target is native to a different plane of existence than the one you’re on, the target is banished with a faint popping noise, returning to its home plane. If the spell ends before 1 minute has passed, the target reappears in the space it left or in the nearest unoccupied space if that space is occupied. Otherwise, the target doesn’t return.
In both cases, the creature may reattempt the Will Save at the end of your turns.
