The Wyrmling Red Dragon

Although the size of a dog, the scarlet-scaled beast roars with the ferociousness of a lion. You're not sure if it's anger that drives it, or if you were just close enough to draw its ire. Or both.
OH ITS A BAAAAABY!   A LIL BABY MAN   (Red dragons also get 5 ft extra movement to everything, for obvious reasons).

    -Features-

    Affinity Anatomy : ~0.0

Within all dragons is a core of magic attuned to an element. This Affinity Core affects their natural weapons and other features they may have, and will be automatically added to their features and actions.

Red Dragons are attuned to the element of Fire, gaining an affinity from volcanic sources within the cores of many worlds.

    Fiery Permeation : ~2.0

Dragons attuned to Fire absorb the heat of other things around them, despite being hot themselves.

After the Red Dragon uses their Energy Breath weapon, is struck by a Fire effect, or if the temperature around them (hazard levels), they gain an Aura of 10 ft (5 ft x PB) for 1d4 rounds

    .

Creatures in this aura that end their turn in this aura and that don't have Fire Resistance or Reduction take 2d4 (1d4 x PB) Fire damage. This damage is doubled if the creature is wearing any sort of non-magical Metal at the start of it's turns.

    Red Tenacity : ~2.0

Chromatic Red Dragons are a prideful, almost foolish sort. This stems from an innate need to appear strong, regardless of the circumstance.

The Red Dragon has Expertise in Intimidation checks, and are immune to the Frightened condition.

Additionally, they gain an amount of health equal to 2 HP per level (TL x PB).

    -Actions-

    Attack Action - [◈◈-◈◈◈] - (1 per turn)
The Red Dragon spends actions to attack enemies with their natural weapons. They fight intelligently but brutally, doing their best to overwhelm their enemy with sheer power. A wyrmling cannot attack as well as other dragons, and relies on heavier hits rather than light attacks.

    Dragon Tail / ◈◈-◈◈◈ / Melee Weapon Attack / +6 to hit / Hit: 11 ( 1d8+6 ) Bludgeoning damage + 2 ( 1d6 ) Fire
    Energy Breath Weapon : ~4.0/3⥣/1d6⟳/ / ◈-◈◈◈ / Targets Reflex

The dragon exhales a jet of dangerous energy based on their Affinity Core, sending out a blast that needs to be dodged.

Every creature in a targeted area must attempt a Reflex saving throw, vs DC = 15 (10 + CON + PB).

The targeted area starts as either a 15 ft long, 5 ft wide Line or a 15 ft wide Cone (the creature chooses on use). The dragon may spend more ◈s to augment the breath weapon, adding another 10 ft in length (5 ft x PB) or 5 ft in width (5 ft x HPB) to the area per ◈.

Creatures that fail take Creature takes 22 4d8 Fire damage (1d8 x TL), depending on their roll.

    Failure: Creature takes full damage.
Critical Failure: Same as the Failure effect.

    -Doom Traits-

    -Tactics-

Red dragons are sometimes seen as the most powerful or most boisterous of the chromatic kind of dragons. They tend to be a jack-of-all-trades more oft than not, being just as cunning, even magical, as they are dangerous. Many even defer to the antics of adventurers as a model to follow, often running counter to the plans and ideals of enemies they commonly face. All told, Red Dragons fight to the death regardless of situation, and either due to their stalwart convictions or their pride preventing them from surrender.   Even a Wymrling will defend itself to the bitter end for what it believes in. Also, despite appearances, a Red Dragon Wyrmling will seldom fight alone, meaning if one is and is found in combat, its companions (or worse, its family or allies) are not far behind. Red Dragon allies will tend to be i

    Read or Paraphrase

    Heard of (-5 to DC)

"It's a dragon. It breathes fire. That's all you know."

The curious one grasps the concept of a dragon, especially one of this scale color.

    Learned of (Meets DC)

"This is a red dragon, one of the stronger chromatic dragons attuned to fire. They tend to lair around or near caves close to mountains or volcanoes."

The adventurers see the dragon for what it is, and may see what it will become. To this end, they could attempt to parlay, or attempt another tactic. Dragons aren't inherently evil, though this one may be at odds with what the adventurers want for one reason or another.

Fully Know of (DC + 10 and up)

"This creature is a red dragon, one of the most prolific kinds of dragon there is. They're known for their fire breath, their lairs close to places attuned to stone and fire, and their exceptional strength even among dragons. Although no two dragons are alike, many are prideful, and even a dragon as young as this one is taught that strength and wit will take them far."

The adventurer(s) fully understand what they are speaking to, even knowing the dragon's name and what it's trying to do. To this end, the adventurers would definitely know the strengths and weaknesses of the dragon, both in terms of statblock and the dragon's personal tastes. This could be used to their advantage, if a fight is not in their favor.

    -Scaling and Alterations-

Adjusting the creature's stats to appropriate Threat levels involves altering the TL, Proficiency Bonus, and damage numbers. For the Red Dragon and its variants, its features will scale with its difficulty, while others will be unlocked or improved at higher Threat Levels.   Uniquely, the Red Dragon has an iconic origin, which leads many to understand its nature and how to interact with it (as noted by its features). To this end, other versions referenced in other games or worlds would share similar traits, with appropriate tweaking reflected in their stat block.   The variants of this creature can be found below.
