Term: Armor Class / AC

A defensive score meant to represent how hard it is to damage a creature, even involving a creature's hardiness or their agility. it serves as a sort of Difficulty Class / DC for hitting a creature with an attack.   All creatures in the game have an Armor Class. This score represents how hard it is to hit and damage a creature.   All creatures have an Armor Class, and by default, a creature's AC is 10 + their DEX / Dexterity score plus other modifiers (such as wearing a shield). This AC is overwritten with the AC of Armor if such equipped or worn.
