Term: Creature Type

Every creature, surprise surprise, has at least one or two creature types. These are helpful traits and monikers to help differentiate what a creature truly is and, if possible, if it fits into a specific category for both lore and mechanical purposes.
There are several major creature types, and even more creature sub-types. There's technically no limit to how many creature types one may have, but if one were to have them all, then they'd probably be great in tribal decks...in another game.
