Aloth
"Prince of Daemons"
Aloth is a Primordial being, and has thus existed for long before the known history of peoples in Calradia. He is Chaos incarnate, and seeks constantly to spread his domain across the mortal realms, so that he may overcome his brother Godric and grow his own power through unleashing Greater Daemons upon the Mortal Realms. Through them he grows in power.
It was he that founded Naggarond, the dark city, in Calradia, and ruled it for the entirety of the First Age. He reveled in the suffering of mortals, those that his brother so desperately wished to protect. He allowed is Greater demons to roam free, conquer their own mortals for their own pleasure, and rule Calradia with an iron fist.
His Greater Deamons, are akin to the Saints of Godric. While they are doubtlessly more numerous, they are also less individually powerful. Rather than sharing a pool of energy and power granted to them by their Prince, they instead build their own power by wreaking their own individual pains upon the world. Based on their domain, the actions (or in some cases deaths) of mortals can fuel their own power, and through this so too does Aloth grow in power.
He has been dispelled from Calradia since the end of the Second Age. Some say he returned to the immortal plan, some say he still resides in Naggarond, now plunged into the underdark. As more monsters are reported, and the light of Nazzareth dims, more and more people whisper of his return.
