Samuel Minkeur

Doctor Samuel Grant Minkeur, MD, Phd

An incredibly gifted surgeon and scholar, Minkeur had ascended through the ranks of not only the Benevolent Order, but Bechlarite culture as well. His counsel was often sought by high ranking officials and he was seldom questioned. He was a stern man, and quite famous for never forgetting a face or a name. It is said he had the uncanny ability to pick out an ailment by just being in the room with a patient for a few short minutes. Though he assured everyone that asked that this uncanny ability was strictly the application of his skill and the belief in himself that he and his order propagated, there were still those that suspected him of some kind of arcane trickery. Despite his stern demeanor and outward rigidity, he had a very strong sense of empathy, and this, combined with his extensive cultural knowledge, made his bedside manner surprisingly soft and comforting.
