Lost Dragon Tribe
Structure
Council of Elders lead the tribe. Women talk to their husbands about what they want brought up in council but do not speak for themselves.
Culture
The Lost Dragon Tribe's culture is deeply influenced by their nomadic roots, even though they are now confined to the mysterious Old Willow Woods. Music, dance, and storytelling are vital aspects of their culture. Despite the challenges of living within the enchanted forest, the tribe maintains a strong sense of community. They rely on each other for survival, and their bond is reflected in their shared rituals and celebrations.
History
The history of this tribe is linked to a legend about origins of the tribe in a time long forgotten, to an era when dragons ruled the skies and magic flowed freely through the land. They searched the land of the Shogunate of Cheria and surrounding countries for clues, relics and the truth that the legend was real. This search stopped when a strand of willow trees they stopped by for the night sprang up into a large (and old) forest. Despite their belief in magick and in dragons, the sudden growth of a forest that trapped them scared them.
They had little contact with others outside what was necessary for trading. So, they didn't know about the Thalara from the Duchy of Agria. It took them a while to find a good path to Orilon for supplies.
Whispers and rumors abounded about a rogue Thalara and no one was willing to venture into the woods to help the tribe get out. So, for the last 10 years the tribe has remained in the Old Willow Woods. Their numbers have been dwindling over the last few years because anyone who strays from the clearing that is their home or from the path never comes back.
Children are warned not to go into the woods but not why.
