While the Vatican claims to have a role in what the Monks do, the Monks are actually autonomous monasteries which collectively share the same goals, beliefs, and have an abbot primate to speak with the worrld. Each monastery has an abbot, a treasurer, supply officer, and a cook.
Public Agenda
They are dedicated to Infinite Grace and studying the Gloombringers. They pray, study, and illuminate manuscripts. They don't help with the Vatican's second, more hidden agenda.
