The Pact

In the wake of the Siege of Mephistal, the diaspora of tieflings sought refuge across the Catseye in Oren. Gnomes, once sieged themselves inside their capitals, empathized with their disfigured counterparts. In exchange for their labor and exclusive access to their infernal enchantments, these tieflings forged an agreement with the gnomes of Du'chan forming 'The Pact'. This pact has proven a powerful alliance to both parties and has received a far amount of condemnation from other power players in Cabochon. Splinter factions of the Pact actively seek its dissolution citing inherent gnomish racism and tiefling reunification in Mephistal. Despite this, the Pact has actively united much of Oren to their cause and seeks retribution for the wrongs both parties have been subjected to.
