King Pellinore de Galis

Pellinore is the king of Gomeret, and patriarch of the De Galis clan. He is one of the legates of the Supreme Collegium.
He rules over the northern half Cambria from Gomeret in a loose overkingdom called North Cambria. He harbours an obsession with hunting the legendary Questing Beast, believing it to be his family's destiny, and is away from his kingdom for years at a time.
As squires in 479, Sir Amlyn, Sir Artaire and Sir Gwyn first encountered him on his hunt in the Blakemoor Wood. He was later encountered in the Leicester Forest in 485.
He recently returned to his kingdom after more than a decade away, after his kingdom fell into ruin due to his quest.
His coat of arms is fourteen blue crosses on a gold field.
