The Questing Beast

Glatisant, also known as the Questing Beast or the Barking Beast, is a legendary mythological creature that dwells in forests. It is said to have the head of a snake, the body of a leopard, the haunches of a lion and the feet of a hart. It emits a ghastly barking sound from its stomach.
King Pellinore de Galis has made it his life's quest to hunt the beast.
As squires, Amlyn, Artaire and Gwyn, encountered Glatisant and King Pellinore in Blakemoor Wood in 479.
