Stygia, Fifth Layer of Hell
A frozen waste of ice and snow atop a bitter-cold sea. Icebergs drift along the water and unpredictable currents stir the water. What lurks beneath are horrors even hell wishes to keep in the depths.
Geography
Stygia lies under a navy-blue sky that twinkles with white stars, casting the tundra in a bright, eternal night. The surface is thick ice, harder than stone in most places. These drift atop an abyssal sea that plunges unknown leagues down into the dark. In the open water, wicked and unpredictable currents steer icebergs wantonly. It often snows here, blizzards sweeping through and howling against the ice.
Fauna & Flora
The snow is home to insectoid creatures that scurry to and fro, white fur blurring their shape in the white. These creatures are vicious and capable of drilling deep into the ice.
Below the water are behemoth monstrosities even the Archdevils dare not tempt. In its primordial depths, in unfathomable pressure and darkness, there are creatures that surface only every few eras, shifting glaciers with their size alone.
Natural Resources
The only thing of value here is the ice itself, though the cost to obtain it normally outweighs the profit.
