Levistus,
Archdevil of Stygia (a.k.a. Herald of Hell, The Lapdog, Father Frost)
Hundreds of thousands of years ago, Levistus ruled over Stygia with little argument. His initial claiming of the title, as for most who have ruled Stygia, lacked much, if any, fanfare. The frigid waste of Stygia and the deep sea beneath are only of interest to other Archdevils as places to banish the unruly. Levistus took rulership of the plane after the previous Archdevil abandoned their post, a rare occurrence, which has led many to attribute their relinquishment to Levistus's more potent experiments. Indeed, Levistus holds great arcane power and knowledge accompanied by a keen mind.
