Bestella, Sixth Layer of Hell

Rain is constant here. The devils claim that Stygia somehow leaks into this plane, despite their planar arrangement failing to concur. The ground is puddled, with raised plateaus surrounded by inches of water. Springing up are large reefs of stone coral. This layer almost completely lacks an atmosphere as well, making it the only one incapable of sustaining fire.
It also contains many proving grounds and keeps as it is an excellent place to test the mettle of combatants.

Geography

Bestella is a wobbly landscape full of divots, pits, caverns, caves, and hills. The landscape is blue, lit by a pale grey sky that holds on chilly rain. There is almost no atmosphere here, and the hard ground puddles. Stone outcroppings and twisting formations rise and fall in strange ways.

Fauna & Flora

Stone coral is th eonly natural life, a remnant from an age where Bestella was once marine. The coral appears dead, pale blue, white, and pink, but does grow slowly over hundreds of years. It mostly clings to the stone formations, making huge reefs.
