Varen's Apothecary

This small shop sits in the shadow of the Protector’s Legacy. It hasn’t been in the city for too long, but has quickly built up a reputation for quality components and basic potions available to the public. Varen is an Elf that began studying at the Arcane Academy before finding he was unable to keep up with his peers but had an aptitude for the more practical side of magics. Utilising some contacts within the Academy he was able to obtain enough components to get started.
Varen ensures he doesn’t break the Council’s edicts around dangerous magical substances by only producing minor magical potions, with his most popular potions being those for virility and hair recovery.
Varen is a middle aged elf with brown hair cut short, thin lips and is normally wearing a loose linen shirt hidden behind an apron with many discreet pockets. The shop itself has a small area ahead of the counter, and a much larger space behind it with shelves containing hundreds of different potion components packed into jars, pouches and other containers.
