Father Grigori Donavich is a Barovian Human Priest of the Morninglord, who lives in and tends to the Chapel of St. Indirov in Barovia. He is the father of Doru Donavich.

Personal history
Though an outspoken detractor of Strahd von Zarovich, Father Grigori was always too cowardly to openly move against the Dread Lord, which is a fact that Strahd used to torment him constantly. Strahd would raise the dead from the Chapel of St. Indirov's cemetary, would defile the holy ground within the Chapel itself, and would personally trash the temple grounds when bored, all only for the Father to rebuild. However, when the Firebrand arrived, Grigori was all too happy to host their sermons in the Chapel, and it became the focus point for the building coup. Strahd was well aware of the discontent, but dismissed it, only for it to boil over and see him slain. In retaliation, Strahd destroyed the last of Grigori's hope by turning his only son, Doru Donavich, into a Vampire Spawn before his eyes.
